Christmas Cookies with the Basques!

On Sunday morning I took both kids (by myself!) over to our friends house to decorate some Christmas cookies!  Maddie had a blast, she loved using the different decorations to make cookies. She made one for herself and one for Joseph. But most of all, she loved eating all the different kinds of sprinkles! She also had a fun time playing with Lily and Simon! This has become somewhat of a tradition for us and our friends, and we love it!

Maddie's First Haircut!

I took Maddie to Great Clips this morning for her very first hair cut! We had talked about getting a hair cut for a while and Maddie was scared because she thought it would hurt! We told her it would just tickle! She later got very excited for it! 

The experience was great! The lady was very nice and did a quick job of cutting her hair. Afterwards Maddie not a balloon, stickers and a lollipop!! I was not expecting any of that so it was a great surprise for both of us! And of course Maddie loves getting her hair cut now!

James Monthly Photo (3 Month)

James turned 3 months today! He weights about 18 pounds. Maddie at this age was about 14.5 pounds.
