Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving was spent at Yee Pau's house with Vickie's side of the family.

Grandparents!

Many thanks to Grandparents Don and Mary Ellen for their visit.  It was great to see them and have them be part of Maddie's early days.

Days 16-18

Long baby?  You betcha!  At the last visit to the doctor's office, they said she was tracking at the 88th percentile for length and head size and 44th percentile for weight.  I'd like to think that Daddy contributed to her giant head.

Awake Videos

Maddie sleeps most of the time.  When she's not sleeping, she's generally asking for something (i.e. crying, fussing, and being a baby).  However, every once in awhile, we see her just chilling as in the videos below.

4 Generations

We had a busy day today.  We went to the doctor for the 2 week checkup, visited coworkers/picked up a turkey at Vickie's office, and we went to Chinatown to visit Vickie's grandmother on her mother's side (Vickie's Pau Pau, and Madeleine's Bak Bak).  The weather turned nasty as we were out.  Madeleine didn't like the cold wind/snow.

This was Bak Bak's first opportunity to see Maddie as it is difficult for her to leave her house.

Days 12-15

It's a nice day today.  Why not go for a walk around the neighborhood?

Day 11 - Still Cute

We're now past the "oh crap, we don't know what to do" phase and have shifted into the "this ain't so hard" phase.  We have a better handle on things and have the routine down to the point where we can generally get Maddy to sleep through 3 hour stretches at night.  Mom has learned how to nap during the day.  Dad has learned how to walk with baby while sleeping.  Cats have become comfortable enough with Maddy that they now completely ignore her.  It's all downhill from here.
