New Balls from Target

We went to Target on Sunday and of course Maddie had to add 1 new green ball and 1 new red ball to her collection of balls!

Otto's 2nd Birthday Party!

On Sunday we drove out for our friend Otto's 2nd birthday Party!  He was going to have pony rides again and a petting zoo!

It was a chilly May day!  I forgot a hat for Maddie but luckily had my own hat in my pocket she could wear.

Maddie loved sitting in all of Otto's cars and pretending to drive around. She was NOT interested in the pony rides at all, she was in fact a bit scared of the ponies. She didn't show much interest in the petting zoo either until Joseph showed her she could feed them some hay!

She loved singing Otto "Happy Birthday!" and of course loved getting her own slice of cake!

This Week at DayCare - 5/2 & 5/4

Tuesday 5/2:

Wednesday 5/3: We hired a nanny to help out on Wednesdays while Pau Pau is still in China.  Here's a picture she took of her and Maddie at the park on Wednesday

Weekend Fun

On Sunday I took Maddie to a new playspace called Bubbles Academy. It has 2 rooms. One is for more physical play that she is a tad too old for. The other is set up more like a classroom with activities such as reading, drawing, dress up, etc. She had a blast in both rooms! She started to play with a little doll in a crib and would take it out of bed and put it back into bed. She found a red ball that she put in the bed with the doll, right by its head. I found it funny because Maddie sleeps with a red ball right by her head!

We later had fun with one of my phone apps that Maddie likes to call "funny faces."   Here are some funny pictures we took.

Announcement! Baby Boy Wagner due Sept 2017!

Baby Boy Wagner will be making his appearance in early September, 2017!

Adjusting to life back in Chicago

We are slowly adjusting to the time zone.  It has been a struggle to stay up past 7pm! Maddie has been getting up early and taking 3 hours naps. She would sleep later but I have had to wake her up and she is so sad when she wakes up. She says "Maddie just want to sleep!"

It took about a full week for Maddie to get fully adjusted back to the time. Here are some pictures of the first few days back before she went back to daycare.
