Maddie had so much fun meeting Santa!

Maddie caught onto this right away! She was able to get the ball into the hoop with very little trouble!

Eating and Sharing Food

As we all know, Maddie LOVES to eat!!

Maddie was doing such a good job sharing food with Joseph but every once in a while she would fake him out and eat it herself!

Visit with "Santa" and Sh*t Fountain

There was a Christmas party at a nearby neighborhood park. They had crafts (Maddie was too young), free cookies (which Maddie loved), a children's choir, and Santa!  We were next in line to see Santa when someone cut in front of us in line - a local Chicago politician!  He is actually our neighborhood's Alderman - Proco Joe Moreno.  At least they didn't shut down the line after him, we did get to see Santa afterwards.

We walked through the neighborhood on our way home and came across the Sh*t Fountain! It is "protest art" that someone built on their own private property. It is pretty gross looking, but it used to look much more nasty!  Here is an article on the fountain.  Maddie is not impressed. No pun intended by having Maddie in front of Sh*t Fountain.

Maddie walks and dances in this video. She loves pushing the button on this little animal noise toy and usually dances when the music comes on.

There is a special appearance from Scaredy Cat in this video!

In the mornings we let the cats out of the basement before we head downstairs to feed them. One or both of them will jump the baby gate before we head downstairs. Maddie still loves the cats and has started to become much more gentler with them.

Feeling Better!

We even went to the park over the weekend as it was gorgeous out (in December!)

Maddie is adorable in this video! She says "mama" and "dada" and chases me around the house. Towards the end she falls a bunch but gets up like a champ to chase me again.
